Approves the agreement and addendum entered into between the state employer and State Bargaining Unit 6, dated June 6, 2021, with provisions requiring expenditure of funds.

Extends the expiration date of the State Bargaining Unit 6 memorandum of understanding from July 2, 2022, to July 2, 2023, for fiscal years 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24.

Suspends State Bargaining Unit 6 employees' monthly contribution to prefund retiree health care for the 2020-21 fiscal year only, while the employer's matching contribution continues during that same period.

Appropriates $509,997,000 for State Bargaining Unit 6 in the 2021-22 fiscal year for state employee compensation.

Takes effect immediately as a bill related to the budget and incorporates conforming amendments if Assembly Bill 142 is enacted after this bill.
