Requires paper affidavits of voter registration to include a statement informing applicants that their signature may be compared with the signature on a mail ballot identification envelope in future elections.

Requires electronic voter registration affidavits submitted through the Secretary of State's website to include a statement before signature affirmation that signatures will be compared between the registration record and mail ballot envelopes.

Applies the signature comparison notification requirement to both the applicant's signature on a paper affidavit of registration and to the signature obtained from their driver's license or state identification card for electronic registration.

Approved by the Governor on July 19, 2022, and filed with the Secretary of State on the same date.
