Authorizes cannabis beverages to be packaged in containers of any material that are clear or any color, expanding beyond the previous glass-only requirement.

Requires all cannabis and cannabis products to be labeled with tamper-evident, child-resistant packaging and unique identifiers before sale at retailers.

Mandates prominent labeling with government warnings, THC/CBD content in milligrams per serving and total package amounts, type of product, packaging date, and allergen warnings.

Prohibits packages and labels designed to attract children and restricts use of only generic food names for describing edible cannabis product ingredients.

Became effective September 18, 2022, with provisions requiring coordination with Assembly Bill 1894, with certain sections operative July 1, 2024.
