Makes charter school employees and executive directors ineligible to serve on county boards of education in the county where their employing charter school or resource center is authorized, effective January 1, 2023.

Prohibits executive directors and employees of charter schools or resource centers from being sworn into school district governing board positions if the charter school was authorized by that district, unless they resign first.

Grandfathers existing board members elected or appointed before January 1, 2023, allowing them to continue serving until reelection or reappointment.

Requires grandfathered members who are charter school employees or executives to abstain from voting on issues related to their employing charter school.
