Requires barbering and cosmetology businesses (subject to regulation under Chapter 10 of Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code) to post a human trafficking notice in a conspicuous location near the public entrance

Notice must be at least 8.5 inches by 11 inches, printed in 16-point font, and include information about contacting the National Human Trafficking Hotline (1-888-373-7888) and text line 233-733

Notice must be posted in English, Spanish, and one additional language that is the most widely spoken language in the county and mandated by the federal Voting Rights Act

Businesses that fail to comply face a civil penalty of $500 for a first offense and $1,000 for each subsequent offense, enforceable after a 30-day cure period following notice of noncompliance
