Authorizes the State Department of Public Health to issue limited podiatric radiography permits allowing radiography of the foot, ankle, tibia, and fibula only.

Requires applicants to complete a 60-hour radiation safety and radiologic technology course (may be online) provided by a licensed podiatrist holding a current radiography supervisor and operator permit.

Mandates course instruction include radiation protection and safety, radiographic exposure principles, quality control, image processing, anatomy and physiology, digital radiography, positioning, and at least 50 supervised x-ray procedures.

Limits training to a maximum of one year per student with no more than one student per licensed podiatrist provider at any time.

Requires the department to adopt implementing regulations by July 1, 2023, exempting them from standard Administrative Procedure Act rulemaking except for a 30-day public comment period.
