Establishes the Community College Faculty and Employee Housing Act of 2022 as Part 14.1 of Division 31 of the Health and Safety Code, mirroring the existing Teacher Housing Act of 2016

Authorizes community college districts to establish programs addressing affordable housing needs for faculty and employees, including acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, and preservation of rental housing

Defines "faculty or community college district employees" to include any person employed by a community college district, including certificated and classified staff

Permits community college districts to prioritize faculty and employees for occupancy while allowing local public employees or other members of the public to occupy housing created under the program, subject to applicable laws

Establishes state policy supporting housing for community college faculty and employees under Section 42(g)(9) of the Internal Revenue Code, enabling use of tax credits and public funds for restricted occupancy housing on community college-owned land
