Requires the State Department of Social Services to submit a report to the Legislature by January 1, 2024, addressing health and safety topics related to children's camps and recommending regulatory oversight requirements.

Report must be developed in consultation with the State Department of Public Health, State Department of Education, Office of the State Fire Marshal, Department of Industrial Relations, parent advocate organizations, and other stakeholders.

Establishes Division 40 of the Health and Safety Code to codify the children's camp safety reporting requirement.

Division 40 is set to automatically repeal on January 1, 2028, pursuant to Section 10231.5 of the Government Code.
