Director must begin investigations within 3 working days for fresh food complaints and within 7 working days for other products under the existing complaint procedures.

Director must annually compile and publish total fees collected from organic product registrations, including department costs to administer the registration program.

Complaint summary reports must be submitted to the California Organic Products Advisory Committee with information on registration numbers, product types, sales volumes, and registrant names.
