Requires advertisement and marketing of cannabis cartridges and integrated cannabis vaporizers to prominently display disposal instructions stating they must be disposed of as hazardous waste at approved facilities, effective July 1, 2024.

Prohibits packages, labels, advertisements, and marketing materials from indicating that cannabis cartridges or integrated cannabis vaporizers are disposable or implying they may be thrown in trash or recycling streams.

Modifies cannabis beverage packaging requirements to allow containers that are clear or any color (removing previous glass-only requirement).

Contains conditional operative provisions dependent on whether AB 1646 is also enacted, with different section implementations based on the order of enactment.

Becomes operative on July 1, 2024.
