Health care service plans and health insurers offering dental services via third-party corporate telehealth providers must disclose to enrollees and insureds the impact of telehealth visits on benefit limitations, including frequency limitations and annual maximums.

Health care service plans and health insurers must report to their respective departments for each product type: total telehealth services delivered, percentage of third-party telehealth providers' contracted providers that are also network providers, and types of telehealth services utilized with demographic information.

Defines "third-party corporate telehealth provider" as a corporation providing dental services exclusively through telehealth technology with no physical patient location, directly contracted with a health care plan or insurer.

Exempts specialized health care service plans and health insurance policies covering dental services from existing telehealth requirements under Sections 1374.141 and 10123.856.

No state reimbursement required for local agencies or school districts as costs incurred relate only to new crime definitions under existing statutory provisions.
