Requires the Department of Parks and Recreation to offer 50% discounted admission to state park units on California Admission Day (defined as the second Saturday in September) through December 31, 2025.

Discount applies to general public vehicle admission, parking, and day use fees but excludes camping, tours, swimming pools, boating facilities, museums, special events, and special event parking fees.

Department may limit discounts as necessary to prevent overcrowding, protect natural and cultural resources, and ensure public health and safety.

Requires the department to submit a report by January 1, 2026 to relevant legislative committees detailing park usage, fiscal impact, affected park units, and other costs and benefits of the program.

Section becomes inoperative on December 31, 2025 and is repealed on January 1, 2027.
