Requires Emergency Medical Technician-I (EMT-I), EMT-II, and EMT-Paramedic (EMT-P) personnel to complete at least 20 minutes of human trafficking training upon initial licensure, effective July 1, 2024.

Amends Sections 1797.170, 1797.171, and 1797.172 of the Health and Safety Code to incorporate the human trafficking training requirement into the scope of practice standards for all three EMT certification levels.

Applies to new EMT certifications only, requiring the training as part of the initial licensing process for all personnel entering these emergency medical services positions.
