Requires pharmacists to complete at least one hour of cultural competency training as part of their 30-hour continuing education requirement for license renewal, effective January 1, 2024.

Requires pharmacy technicians to complete at least one hour of cultural competency training during the two-year period preceding license renewal, effective January 1, 2024.

Defines "cultural competency course" as training that focuses on LGBTQ+ patients, covers health disparities in Black, Indigenous, and communities of color, addresses intersectionality, and is approved by a board-accredited agency.

Allows the board to issue inactive pharmacist licenses to applicants who fail to submit proof of completing required continuing education hours, with reactivation available upon completion of education requirements and payment of renewal fees.

Exempts first-time pharmacist license renewals from continuing education requirements.
