Authorizes the Department of Health Care Access and Information to waive seismic safety requirements for Pacifica Hospital of the Valley in Los Angeles County if the hospital submits a compliance plan by September 15, 2022, and the department deems the plan feasible and promoting public safety.

Requires Pacifica Hospital of the Valley to submit progress reports to the department on a quarterly basis from October 1, 2022, through October 1, 2024, demonstrating sufficient progress toward completing its seismic compliance plan.

Permits the department to revoke the waiver if the hospital fails to timely submit progress reports that the department reasonably determines are sufficient to complete the compliance plan.

Establishes January 1, 2025, as the deadline for Pacifica Hospital of the Valley to achieve seismic compliance under the waiver provision.

Took effect immediately upon Governor approval on September 27, 2022, as an urgency statute.
