Requires the State Department of Public Health to review literature on adverse effects of extreme heat on perinatal health, subject to legislative appropriation.

Mandates the department develop and post guidance on safe conditions and health considerations for pregnant individuals and infants exposed to extreme heat during gestational and postpartum periods.

Requires the department to submit a report to the Legislature with legislative and policy recommendations on best practices for connecting perinatal patients with extreme heat health and well-being information.

Establishes that the State Department of Public Health must consult with subject matter experts when conducting this work.

Repeals this section on January 1, 2027.
