Department of Justice must develop and create a video demonstrating proper conduct by peace officers and individuals during traffic stops, in conjunction with the Department of Motor Vehicles and Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training, and post it on its website.

Viewing the Department of Justice's traffic stop conduct video is required as part of driving school curriculum regulations and automobile driver education courses in schools.

Driver's license applications for original, renewal, or duplicate licenses must inform applicants about the Department of Justice's video on proper conduct during traffic stops.

School districts must include the video viewing in automobile driver education courses as a state-mandated local program requirement.

Reimbursement for any costs mandated by this act shall be made through Part 7 of Division 4 of Title 2 of the Government Code if the Commission on State Mandates determines costs exist.
