Increases the maximum ratio of occupational therapy assistants to occupational therapists from 2:1 to 3:1 at any single facility.

Extends the California Board of Occupational Therapy's operational authority from January 1, 2023 to January 1, 2027.

Adds licensed occupational therapists to the list of healing arts practitioners authorized to be shareholders, officers, directors, or professional employees of medical corporations.

Creates occupational therapy corporations as a new professional entity type and authorizes physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and other specified health practitioners to hold ownership and leadership positions in them (limited to 49% total ownership share).

Exempts professional corporations staffed by California Board of Occupational Therapy licensees from needing separate state registration certificates under the Moscone-Knox Professional Corporation Act.
