Department of Cannabis Control must issue temporary event cultivator retail licenses authorizing license holders to sell cannabis cultivated by their own operation at state temporary events.

Applicants must hold a valid state cultivation license and local cannabis cultivation authorization, and either cultivate no more than one acre of cannabis or qualify as an equity applicant or licensee.

Each temporary event cultivator retail license is valid only for the specific state temporary event for which it was issued, with a limit of 8 licenses per licensee per calendar year.

All cannabis and cannabis products sold must be cultivated by the temporary event cultivator retail licensee and transported by a distributor licensee in compliance with existing regulations.

Department cannot require resubmission of information, background checks, or inspections already completed for the applicant's state cultivation license approval.
