Requires the State Air Resources Board to assess greenhouse gas emissions reductions resulting from employer work-from-home options and compare those reductions to overall state emissions reductions, upon appropriation by the Legislature.

Research must include analysis of direct and indirect transportation emissions, office and home energy consumption, internet and communication technologies, and changes in consumer choices regarding location and vehicle purchases.

Research findings must be disaggregated by sociodemographic characteristics including income, gender, race, and ethnicity.

State Air Resources Board must provide recommendations on how employees and employers can estimate emission impacts, develop regional-scale methodologies, and promote work-from-home benefits equitably.

Results must be posted on the state board's website no later than four years after appropriation, and shall not include projections or goals for emission reductions.
