Revives civil claims for sexual assault damages occurring on or after January 1, 2009, that would otherwise be barred by statute of limitations, with claims able to be filed until December 31, 2026.

Revives claims for sexual assault occurring after the plaintiff's 18th birthday where one or more entities engaged in a cover-up of previous sexual assault allegations, with a filing window from January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023.

Defines "cover-up" as concerted efforts to hide evidence of sexual assault, including use of nondisclosure or confidentiality agreements, and allows revival of related claims such as wrongful termination and sexual harassment.

Does not revive claims previously litigated to finality before January 1, 2023, or claims settled by written agreement before January 1, 2023.

Maintains existing statute of limitations rules under Section 340.16: the later of 10 years from the last act of sexual assault or 3 years from discovery of injury resulting from the assault.
