Amends Section 53398.51.1 of the Government Code to permit legislative body members serving on enhanced infrastructure financing district public financing authorities to simultaneously serve on governing bodies of joint powers authorities.

Allows members of a participating affected taxing entity's legislative body to hold dual positions in the public financing authority and any joint powers authority formed under the Joint Exercise of Powers Act by that same taxing entity.

Clarifies that this dual service provision applies notwithstanding any other state law.

Effective June 28, 2021.
