Requires public schools serving grades 6-12 to stock free menstrual products (pads and tampons) in all women's restrooms, all-gender restrooms, and at least one men's restroom beginning July 1, 2022.

Mandates schools post prominent notices in required restrooms with the law's text and contact information for a designated individual responsible for maintaining product supplies.

Requires California State University and community college districts to provide an adequate supply of free menstrual products at no fewer than one accessible central campus location.

Encourages (but does not require) the University of California Regents, independent institutions of higher education, and private postsecondary institutions to provide free menstrual products at accessible campus locations.

Authorizes state reimbursement to local agencies and school districts for any costs mandated by the act if determined by the Commission on State Mandates.
