Requires that any term limits imposed on county board of supervisors members must be no fewer than 2 terms.

Allows county boards of supervisors or county residents (by initiative) to adopt or repeal proposals limiting the number of terms supervisors may serve.

Specifies that the board of supervisors is included in the definition of county officers for whom the board must prescribe compensation.

Establishes that new term limit restrictions do not affect any term limits that were legally in effect prior to January 1, 2022.
