Clarifies that a child advocacy center may be included as a member of a county's child abuse multidisciplinary personnel team if the county uses the center to implement the coordinated multidisciplinary response.

Adds a representative from a child's tribe to the list of individuals who may serve on the multidisciplinary personnel team when the child is an Indian child, including tribal social workers, tribal social services directors, or tribal mental health professionals.

Maintains existing provisions allowing multidisciplinary team members to share confidential information for 30 days (or longer with documented good cause) following a report of suspected child abuse or neglect.

Requires confidentiality protections for all team members receiving information, subjecting them to the same privacy obligations and penalties as the original disclosing party.

Requires each county to develop protocols describing how and what information may be shared by the team to ensure confidential information is not disclosed in violation of state or federal law.
