Grants peace officer status to security officers appointed by the Exposition Park Manager at the California Science Center and Exposition Park, expanding their authority beyond previous arrest powers.

Requires newly designated peace officers to complete the regular basic training course prescribed by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.

Authorizes these peace officers to provide police and security services at all Exposition Park facilities year-round, with authority extending statewide when responding to immediate danger or preventing escape of offenders.

Makes conforming changes to the Penal Code to add security officers of Exposition Park to the list of peace officers whose primary duty is enforcement of law at those facilities.
