Requires local law enforcement agencies to post hate crime information to their internet websites on a monthly basis, in addition to existing reporting requirements to the Department of Justice.

Maintains existing requirement for Attorney General to direct local law enforcement agencies to report hate crime information to the Department of Justice.

Maintains existing requirement for Department of Justice to update the OpenJustice Web portal with hate crime information on or before July 1 each year.

Defines "hate crime" by reference to Section 422.55 of the Penal Code for purposes of this section.

Provides that if the Commission on State Mandates determines the bill imposes state-mandated costs, reimbursement shall be made pursuant to Government Code Part 7.
