Allows common interest development associations to elect qualified candidates by acclamation when the number of nominees does not exceed the number of board vacancies, if specified conditions are met.

Requires associations to provide initial notice of the election and nomination procedures at least 90 days before the nomination deadline, plus a reminder notice 7-30 days before the deadline.

Requires associations to notify members and nominees within 7 business days of receiving nominations, indicating whether nominees are qualified candidates or providing disqualification reasons and appeal procedures.

Permits associations to disqualify nominees only under specific circumstances allowed by Section 5105 of the Civil Code, and removes the previous requirement that associations have 6,000 or more units to use acclamation procedures.

Requires the association board to vote to approve sealing qualified candidates by acclamation at a public meeting with an agenda item naming each candidate to be seated.
