Requires olive oil containers sold in California that include "California" on the label and contain oil from olives grown outside California to disclose the minimum percentage of California-grown olive content in font size no less than the largest font used for "California."

Mandates the disclosure use specific language: "___percent (or %) California" or " percent (or ____%) California olive oil," effective for products produced after December 31, 2021.

Requires all olive oil with "California" on its principal display panel to comply with the Department of Food and Agriculture's "Grade and Labeling Standards for Olive Oil, Refined-Olive Oil, and Olive-Pomace Oil."

Maintains existing requirements that 100% of oil labeled "California Olive Oil" must come from California-grown olives and that oil from specific California regions must be at least 85% from that region.

Specifies that violations constitute misdemeanors and that no state reimbursement is required for local enforcement costs related to this new crime.
