Requires the State Department of Education to establish an Office of School-Based Health Programs by July 1, 2022, to administer health-related programs and advise on school-based Medi-Cal services delivery.

Office shall provide technical assistance, outreach, and informational materials to local educational agencies (LEAs) on allowable services and claims submission for the LEA Medi-Cal Billing Option Program and related federal programs.

Increases annual funding limit for State Department of Health Care Services activities supporting LEA Medi-Cal programs from $1,500,000 to $2,000,000, with $500,000 available for transfer to support the new office.

Requires the State Department of Health Care Services to consult with the new office when formulating state plan amendments and to include coordination activities with the office in annual legislative reports.

Permits the State Department of Education to use an existing branch or division to serve as the office rather than establishing a new entity.
