Expands the list of offenses for which an arresting officer must permit a person to execute a corrective notice promising to fix the violation instead of issuing a citation.

Adds vessel-related infractions to the corrective notice requirement, including failure to display vessel identification numbers (Vehicle Code Section 9853.2 and California Code of Regulations Title 13, Section 190.00).

Includes additional vessel safety and registration infractions: expired vessel registration, vessel registration stickers, personal floatation devices, and fire extinguishers on vessels.

Requires officers to permit the corrective notice unless disqualifying conditions exist as specified in Vehicle Code Section 40610.

Effective upon Governor's approval, July 9, 2021.
