Notification must include the planned date, time, and location of the fair and must be delivered by first-class mail or email using contact information from the Division of Apprenticeship Standards' database.

Encourages schools to host dedicated apprenticeship fair events modeled after college and career fairs to highlight local apprenticeship programs and career technical education opportunities.

Recognizes apprenticeship programs as vital to California's economy and notes that registered apprentices grew from 53,951 in 2012 to 80,464 in 2018.

Establishes that if the Commission on State Mandates determines the bill imposes state-mandated costs, reimbursement shall be made through existing statutory procedures in Government Code Part 7.
