Require Department of Consumer Affairs boards to update their online license search systems within 90 days of receiving a certified expungement order for a conviction that led to license revocation.

Direct boards to either post notification of the expungement order if the person reapplies for or obtains a new license, or remove the revocation posting and related arrest/charge/conviction information if the person does not reapply.

Authorize boards to charge a fee of $25 to individuals to cover the reasonable regulatory costs of administering the expungement notification process, unless there are no associated costs.

Require fees collected to be deposited into the appropriate fund and made available only upon legislative appropriation.

Apply exemption from Administrative Procedure Act requirements for board adoption of implementing regulations and preserve Medical Board of California provisions in case of conflicts.
