Mandates advance notice to affected residents and property owners, clear signage compliant with California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, and a determination that closures or restrictions are necessary for safety and protection of street users.

Requires local authorities to maintain a publicly available website listing streets included in or being evaluated for the slow streets program and providing instructions for public engagement.

Allows use of roadway design features including islands, curbs, and traffic barriers to implement speed limits and access restrictions as part of slow streets programs.
