Expands California's paid family leave program to include parents who were pregnant with a child that dies unexpectedly during childbirth at 37 weeks or more of pregnancy.

Allows such parents to take bonding leave and receive wage replacement benefits for up to 8 weeks under the family temporary disability insurance program.

Amends Section 3302 of the Unemployment Insurance Code to define the deceased child as a "care recipient" and the parent as a "care provider" for purposes of family care leave eligibility.

Makes an appropriation from the Unemployment Compensation Disability Fund to cover the costs of providing benefits under this expanded eligibility.
