Permits filing officers to retain campaign reports and statements as electronic copies or microfilm immediately, without a two-year waiting period requirement.

Requires public officials and candidates for whom the Fair Political Practices Commission is the filing officer to file statements of economic interests electronically with the Commission rather than with their agencies.

Prohibits the Commission from posting statements of economic interests from non-elected officials on the internet and requires redaction of personal addresses, telephone numbers, and signatures from all filed statements made available online.

Extends the deadline for returning, reimbursing, or donating gifts from 30 days of receipt to 30 days following the end of the calendar quarter in which the gift was received.

Reduces the timeframe for lobbyists and lobbying firms to provide beneficiaries with gift information from 30 days to 15 days following the end of each calendar quarter.
