Proclaims April 2022 as Donate Life/DMV Partnership Month in California to recognize National Donate Life Month.

Encourages all Californians to register with the Donate Life California Organ and Tissue Donor Registry by selecting "YES!" when applying for or renewing a driver's license or identification card, or by registering at www.donateLIFEcalifornia.org or www.donevidacalifornia.org.

Recognizes that the 16-year partnership between Donate Life California and the Department of Motor Vehicles has registered almost 18,000,000 people, accounting for over 95 percent of donors on the registry.

Notes that California has over 20,000 residents waiting for transplants and that 1,314 people died waiting for organs in 2021, while 4,018 life-saving transplants were performed that year.

Calls on California legislators to share information about organ donation with constituents and emphasizes the state's continued effort to save lives through increased donor registration.
