Designates November 2022 as California's Sikh American Awareness and Appreciation Month to recognize and acknowledge the significant contributions of Californians of Sikh heritage to the state.

Recognizes Sikh historical contributions including the founding of the first U.S. gurdwara (Stockton Sikh Temple) in 1912, agricultural development in California valleys, and the Ghadar Party's role in Indian independence movements.

Highlights notable Sikh Americans including Dalip Singh Saund, the first Asian American elected to U.S. Congress (1957-1963), and Narinder Singh Kapany, acknowledged as the father of fiber optics technology.

Condemns all hate crimes and bias incidents against Sikh Americans and encourages Sikhs to practice their faith freely and fearlessly.

Acknowledges Sikh service in U.S. military conflicts since World War I and current estimated 100 active Sikh service members in the U.S. Army and Air Force.
