Commemorates the 50th anniversary of Title IX on June 23, 2022, which prohibits sex-based discrimination in federally-funded education programs and activities.

Urges Californians to continue working toward Title IX's goals of equal opportunities for all students in academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities regardless of sex, gender identity, or gender expression.

Recognizes Title IX's protections against sexual harassment and violence, equal athletic opportunities (girls' high school participation increased over 1,000 percent since 1972), and support for pregnant and parenting students.

Notes multiple California colleges and universities are under federal investigation for handling of sexual violence and sexual harassment cases.

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to send copies of this resolution to the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, and California's congressional delegation.
