Recognizes June 20, 2022, as World Refugee Day to honor refugees, asylum-seekers, and internally displaced persons forced to flee conflict, violence, and persecution.

Urges the President and Congress to strengthen U.S. international leadership in finding political solutions to conflicts, preventing new conflicts, and aiding displaced persons, particularly vulnerable populations facing sexual violence, human trafficking, and exploitation.

Urges Congress to make a bipartisan commitment to promote the safety, health, and well-being of millions of refugees and displaced persons worldwide.

Notes California has resettled refugees from over 100 countries since the 1980 Refugee Act and has become the fifth largest economy partly due to refugee communities' economic contributions.

Directs the Assembly Chief Clerk to transmit the resolution to the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, Senate Majority Leader, and all California members of Congress.
