Applies to criminal background check requirements for community care facilities, residential care facilities for persons with chronic life-threatening illness, residential care facilities for the elderly, childcare centers, and home care aide registrations.

Incorporates conditional provisions coordinating with Assembly Bill 1720 regarding amendments to multiple sections of the Health and Safety Code, with operative provisions dependent on both bills being enacted and the timing of their passage.
