• Permits single requests for peace officer assistance during 30-day fire hazard periods or owner absences to be submitted in notarized writing on a law enforcement agency form.

• Authorizes electronic submission of requests for peace officer assistance and allows local governments to accept electronic submissions.

• Requires written notice to terminate assistance requests before the applicable period expires.
