Prohibits operators of licensed alcoholism, drug abuse treatment facilities, and certified alcohol or drug programs from making false or misleading statements about products, services, geographic locations, or medical treatments in marketing materials, websites, and social media.

Prohibits operators of licensed psychiatric and mental health facilities from making false or misleading statements about products, services, geographic locations, or medical treatments in marketing materials, websites, and social media.

Prohibits facilities from posting false contact information, staff information, or facility descriptions that surreptitiously direct consumers to unaffiliated businesses.

Prohibits facilities from including false information or deceptive electronic links on websites that redirect consumers to other websites.

Authorizes the Department of Health Care Services and other regulatory agencies to investigate violations and impose sanctions on facilities found in violation.
