Extends the Physical Therapy Board of California's authority to enforce and administer the Physical Therapy Practice Act and appoint an executive officer until January 1, 2027, with legislative review upon repeal.

Authorizes physicians and surgeons or podiatrists to conduct either in-person or telehealth patient examinations and evaluations when approving a physical therapist's plan of care, rather than requiring only in-person examinations.

Updates patient notice requirements for direct physical therapy treatment to reflect that physician and podiatrist approvals may be conducted via telehealth examination and evaluation.
