Prohibits life and disability income insurers from considering an applicant's occupation when determining whether to require an HIV test, effective January 1, 2023.

Repeals the existing prohibition that prevented policies from limiting benefits for losses caused by or contributed to by HIV or AIDS.

Reduces the maximum criminal penalty for negligent, willful, or malicious disclosure of HIV test results from one year to 364 calendar days in county jail.

Maintains civil penalties for HIV test result disclosure: up to $2,500 for negligent disclosure and $5,000 to $10,000 for willful or malicious disclosure, with liability for all actual damages.
