CA SB431

Authorizes the Landscaping and Lighting District of the City of West Covina to perform maintenance and make improvements pursuant to Sections 22525 and 22531 of the Streets and Highways Code, in addition to existing street lighting maintenance authority.

Maintains the district's existing authority to perform street lighting maintenance as defined in Section 5835.3 of the Streets and Highways Code.

Legislature finds that a special statute is necessary for the City of West Covina due to unique needs for immediate maintenance and improvements that cannot be addressed through general statutes.
