Establishes Article 2 on Geriatric Health Care Workforce in the Health and Safety Code to support geriatricians and geriatric care providers in underserved areas.

Requires the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development to include students and professionals with training in geriatrics when administering three loan repayment programs: Health Professions Career Opportunity Program, National Health Service Corps State Loan Repayment Program, and Steven M. Thompson Physician Corps Loan Repayment Program.

States the Legislature's intent to provide geriatricians access to existing state loan repayment programs and encourage primary care physicians, dentists, dental hygienists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, pharmacists, and mental health providers with geriatric training to practice in federally designated health provider shortage areas.

Aims to address California's shortage of geriatricians by expanding eligibility for existing workforce training and loan repayment programs to include geriatric care specialists.
