Requires facilities licensed by the State Department of Health Care Services to disclose their license number and expiration date when inquired about, on their internet website, and in all advertising and marketing materials in a clear and conspicuous manner.

Requires programs certified by the department to disclose their certification number and expiration date when inquired about, on their internet website, and in all advertising and marketing materials in a clear and conspicuous manner.

Allows facilities and programs to satisfy disclosure requirements by including the statement "Licensed by the State Department of Health Care Services" or "Certified by the State Department of Health Care Services" with a link to the department's website containing the license or certification details.

Violations of disclosure requirements are subject to investigation and penalties by the department, including assessment of penalties, suspension, or revocation of licenses or certifications.

Effective October 8, 2021.
