Commissioner must transmit annually to the Secretary of the Natural Resources Agency a report with geographic recommendations for vegetation management projects based on analysis of residential property insurance nonrenewal data and industry risk assessments, beginning November 1, 2022.

Commissioner must post the vegetation management report on the Department of Insurance's website.

FAIR Plan Association must contract with a risk management and modeling services provider to study how concentration risks affect its policies in high fire risk areas, focusing on cities and counties where neighborhood character, firefighting resources, housing construction, and materials create the highest loss and reinsurance costs.

FAIR Plan must submit its concentration risk study report to the Department of Insurance, Natural Resources Agency, Senate Committee on Insurance, and Assembly Committee on Insurance by December 31, 2022.

The FAIR Plan study requirement expires and is repealed on January 1, 2026.
