Ratifies the tribal-state gaming compact between California and the Tejon Indian Tribe executed on August 17, 2022, under the federal Indian Gaming Regulatory Act.

Exempts from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review the execution of the gaming compact, amendments to it, and related intergovernmental agreements negotiated under its authority.

Exempts from CEQA review the on-reservation impacts of compliance with the ratified gaming compact in deference to tribal sovereignty.

Clarifies that the CEQA exemptions apply only to the specified actions and do not exempt cities, counties, state agencies, or other jurisdictions from CEQA requirements for other projects.

Takes effect immediately as an urgency statute to promote economic development and self-sufficiency of the Tejon Indian Tribe.
